June 30th 1955 & June 30th 2001

These are two days that mean very much to me. The 1st is the day my mother Terry Ann Moore was born. If she had not been brought into this world there would be no me. If I was not her daughter, I may not have grown in to what others say is a strong woman. I don't see it too often but hear those words oh so much. The 2nd day is my 2nd born daughter, Keilani Lachelle Echevarria's birth. Many may not know that Keilani being born on my moms bday was no coincidence. It was by my mothers insistence, my agreement and surprisingly my Dr's cooperation. She asked for him to induce me the night of June 29th so I would labor through the night and have her sometime after midnight. This rarely EVER happens. Most Dr's only induce you early in the morning.

1. my mom was persuasive.
2. I believe God had the final say

It wasn't easy losing my mom just after Keilani turned 8 months old, Kiana almost 3 and me 4 months pregnant with Kamia. But God had a plan. I still am so blessed to be able to celebrate her bday. Not many people get the chance to do that. The day of there relative or loved ones birth comes and goes and sometimes with much pain. My mom's birthday comes with a lil bit of sadness because she would only be turning 55 this year, but with GREAT joy cause God blessed me with a treasure beyond measure that is turning 9 today. She means more to me then I could ever have imagined.

I had fears when pregnant with her that I would be unable to love her as much as I loved her older sister Kiana who was already here. But again, God has a plan! Our love for her was no less then her sister. She has her own uniqueness that is unlike either of her sisters or brother. She hears so clearly from the Lord and her hearts desire is to love as deep as she is loved and
beyond. She has such a pure heart one that wants to give a home to the orphans of this world. I pray that I am able to hold her heart and teach her what the Lord desires for her to know. To not scar her but love her as much as she deserves and more.

My mom sacrificed much, was not perfect by any means but had a HUGE heart. On this day, mom I remember you and celebrate through Keilani Lachelle our Lala that you and I both love very much.

Dwelling in the land

So as we come back and get in to the swing of things in the prayer room, in Media and girls starting softball it actually has been quite smooth. But the Lord has really been speaking to us on preparing our hearts and positioning them as well. We have been trying to get more in our word and being diligent in spending more time with Him. Living life as Intercessory/Media Missionaries can be demanding but worth it all none the less. God took me back to a scripture He gave me, Psalm 37:3 Oct 2008 two months after moving to KC. Now He has me and Ismael studying it coming up on 2 years being here. It says: Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. I mean this is what He has called us to do...it's just confirmation for us that God, You alone have called us here.

We want nothing more then to lay our lives at His feet. To do all that He has called us to do. We want to raise our children in the House of the Lord that they will know Him in an intimate way and never depart from His callings on their lives. I am amazed everyday of His faithfulness to us. Even though I have my moments (cause that's life) but I truly am happier then I have ever been in my life. I mean He has healed me from my own hearts pain emotionally from all the loss I have had in my life. Five years ago He healed me physically from suffering from anxiety and intense shoulder and neck muscle pain. He has restored my marriage that at one point was in shambles. We are more in love with each other now then ever before. HE IS SO GOOD!

With all that said, believe in God to do miracles in your life. He is faithful and longs to heal your body and mind. He wants to restore your life back to you. There is nothing like living in freedom. Seek Him 1st always. Faithful is His name. Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father forever making intercession for you.

Oh how I love little get aways!

Well we are back from our little mini vacation with my dad and brother. All 8 of us took a 3 hour trip out to Branson, MO which was way fun! We had not just gotten away with the kids and relaxed like that in quite some time. It was such a peaceful time.

fam'n it up!

I have been so excited to have my family here. It has been years since we have spent time together...even though we are still missing two important people and some lil ones we have been enjoying our time. Yesterday we went to the Plaza hung out and met up at Blanc Burger with our cousin Leann who is living in Kansas like 15 min away from me. I love having some of my family around and I am super sad that my cousin Leann may be moving back to Cali. BUT I am praying the Lord changes her mind! haha!

Anyhow will update some more...we are off to Branson, MO tomorrow. I will post pics next week sometime.

Until then...love, peace and hair grease!

Our update...soon to be regular basis blogging. I promise! lol

I just wanted to blog and give a way over due update to what is new with us! We are truly doing fantastic and are fully submerged in our lives as a Media Missionary Family! We are absolutely blown away at where the Lord has landed us here at the Prayer Room and on the Missions Base. We had no idea that He would orchestrate the two of us in the Media Department. Ismael as a director for the 24/7 live webstream that is now FREE @ www.theprayerroom.tv and myself as the Media Production Manager for the Creative Services side which is all the non-live projects we do like promo's, podcasts and tv highlights.
Ismael is working as well in the IHOP warehouse as the Head Selector. We are hoping this is just a season until the Lord releases more finances in means of support. Him working 72 hours a week including meetings and time in the Prayer Room isn't always easy but he does it with such a happy heart and just wanting to do the Lord's work and will for our lives.
The kids are doing AMAZING! Getting so big and growing closer in their relationship with the Lord. The girls are all honor roll students and are getting ready to start softball. Elijah is finishing up his kindergarten year the top of his class and reading like a champ! We truly could not be more proud parents of our four amazingly talented children. They love truly love Jesus and have such a heart for the kids around them at school hurting. Kamia asked one day, Momma why can't we just be homeschooled? Keilani and Kiana's response to her was if we didn't go to school then how would the kids find Jesus? They blow us away everyday! Oh how our hearts are stirred up by their ever growing faith in our Creator!!
We want to take the time to thank you all for your loving support and prayers that have got us through this HUGE transition in our lives. We would like to ask you all to partner with us in prayer for a few things.
1st we are coming to the end of our 2nd year lease in the house we are in and asking and believing in the Lord to make a way for us to purchase our very own home. We feel that this is the Lords will but need prayer for everything to go smoothly and that we qualify for something. So please pray, pray, pray!
2nd thing would we would love your prayer on is the Lord releasing more supporters that are called to the marketplace and want to partner with missionaries like us that are working hard and sacrificing much to get the Lords word across the world! We sit before the Lord praying for our Nation, the surrounding Nations and of course all of you! Declaring His goodness to all that have ears to hear and to open eyes and ears for those in need of His love! The Lord is hastening the day of His Son's return and He is calling for us to call out to Him! We need those called to partner with us to continue His work.
3rd and last thing...we feel one day in the future that we will adopt and take in the fatherless. The Lords heart is for the orphan and we want to carry His heart. So just keep us in prayer that if it is His will He will make it happen!
Well we are done talking your ears off...we are just really excited to see what He is doing in our lives and just want to share with the ones we hold so dear to our hearts...you!
Any prayer requests or have any questions about us and what we are doing? Please comment...we really want to hear from you all!

Testing, 1, 2, anyone there?

So yes I know...once again it has been quite a while since I have blogged. With that said this one may kinda be all over the place. Giving lil tidbits of info on what has been going down in our ever so amazing and interesting life! lol

Where to begin...well let's start with my NEW job! Whoohoo! I must say God is the orchestrator of all good things. He most definitely had his hand all over this one. I had been working in the Web stream Dept on the Missions Base at IHOP-KC and really loving the people I was working with. I mean they are some AMAZING people that really made me crave more of what God has for me. Anyhow I knew that this was not where I was going to stay...you know that feeling inside that, "this is not it". With many tough decisions ahead of me and 1 lesson learned of just cause it looks good doesn't mean it's His will...I mustered up the courage to apply for a position within the Media.

I essentially applied for one of two possible positions, but heard there were 3 open. Needless to say I interviewed and was, I guess you would say, selected for a position that I had no idea I would be doing. I within the next week or so accepted the position of Media Dept Production Manager. Whoa, even saying it makes me a lil crazed! ha! I knew very little of what the real inner workings of the Media entail. Now granted I know some things because Ismo is a Director and me working within the Web stream Dept. So again...the Big Guy set me up! He knew exactly where to place me to land me in this position. I am absolutely humbled and terrified all at the same time. I truly want to do a really good job and pray everyday that I would be able to grasp what is thrown at me. I want to be able to be a good leader with a humble heart. To be one that has my eyes so fixed on Him that I'm able to help others carry their heart through this life. Truly asking for God to help me to be Christ-like in all my ways.

Not only did I start this position but I worked my 1st Onething Conference with approx 20, 000 attendees!! Whoohoo! God so rocked us this year and I was soooooo nervous. Ismo was trying to keep focused with working in two place on the Mission Base which both are very demanding during this time...so much to do! But he did such a great job of working all the hours he did and trying to remain in good spirits.

We thank the Lord for 2010 and what it has in store for us. We had a really nice Thanksgiving and Christmas as well. We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for and these holidays give you such an amazing chance to reflect on these things.

Oh how the days fly!

I know, I know! Its been quite some time since I have blogged. We have been staying so busy with the kids 1st being out of school for the summer and all the summer activities. Then so busy once they started school again. This year ALL 4 of the kids are in school FULL time! Its so crazy and I can't believe that we are at at this new stage in life. I'll be turning 30 in 6 months we now have a 5th, 3rd, 2nd and kindergartner! WOW!! They are doing amazing in school and keeping there A,B averages. Keilani is being put in a class for gifted and talent once a week and they want to test the girls too. Elijah cant be tested until next year but he is doing amazing. He is already beginning to read...but we all know he is given his teacher a run for her money! lolWe have entered into this transition...into what you ask? We are wondering the same thing! Hubby took a six week sabbatical to focus more on the family, God and pursuing deeper inner healing. We have truly been on a roller coaster since July. We have opened up our home and have had family & friends staying with us off and on since we moved here and now we officially as of yesterday without house guest. So Ismo has just finished Pure Heart and 8 week course into a journey of healing through the Beatitudes and now started Living Waters which is a 6 month long course that goes even deeper. This is all at the Lords request so he is being obedient. We all have junk from living in this world but its up to us to learn how to deal with it and free up our heart for more of God. So in that he is now entering into a season that he will be working and entering back into full time Media as a director until we can raise enough support to be able to commit more into our jobs as Intercessory Missionary's.

I have begun my journey on staff at the International House of Prayer. I work in the Web stream Tech Support office with some AMAZING people. I also still dedicate 4+ hours a week to leading in the program Pure Heart I mentioned about. Seeing people set free from there wounds and pains is truly priceless. So outside of these two things I am at home with my wonderful kids that I love and drive me crazy all at the same time! ha!

My kids have grown and matured so much spiritually and know that God is the answer to all of lives problems. They cause me to want to go deeper in my relationship. Kiana and Keilani are both in internships called Samuel Co Tuesday nights where they spend 4 hrs in the prayer room and in teaching from amazing leaders like Lou Engle, Cory Asbury...

We are still fully convinced this is where the Lord has us and look forward to this new season. We have hopes to buy a house in the near future and believe that God will provide over and beyond what our minds can fathom! He is so good. So keep up with us on this journey to see what He does next...never a dull moment!! I'll be sure to keep the updates comin more often!!
